Drag legend and herstorian Linda Simpson brings our community’s history of performance at the piers alive on February 17 when the South Street Seaport presents Queer History: Drag and the Waterfront at NYC’s Green Room. Through her impressive tome, The Drag Explosion, Simpson generously shares a wealth of firsthand photos looking back at life in the New York City’s drag-tacular ‘80s and ‘90s. Q
