Comedian, actor, and writer Judy Gold brings her fury over silencing comedians to the forefront in her new show (based on her recent book) Yes, I Can Say That. Gold takes to the stage “to tell the fascists and crybabies to shove their hate and political correctness up their respective asses.” Co-written with Eddie Sarfaty, directed by BD Wong, and presented by Primary Stages, the evening promises to be full of laughs and a tribute to free speech. The Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art opens Images on Which to Build, 1970s-1990s, a photographic exhibition from the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati. Curator Ariel Goldberg explores the intersection of activism, education, and media production in grassroots movements from various parts of the world. Featured artists and collectives include: Diana Solís, Joan E. Biren (JEB), Lola Flash, the Lesbian Herstory Archives, ART+Positive and the Sexual Minorities Archives, among others.
