Queerful Co-Founder Robert Valin sat down Nina Zilka and David Krause at Alder New York skin care, a queer-and woman-owned company founded in 2016 by fashion industry insiders. Their growing passion about skincare came up against a dearth in the market in terms of FDA-regulated, clean skincare in packaging that appealed to their design sensibility and lifestyle. So they created a certified-vegan, genderless, luxury skincare program that doesn’t involve an elaborate, 10-step nightly regimen.

“We didn’t do anything revolutionary in terms of finding a new ingredient… we just made a really clean, synergistic, smart collection of products that are going to deliver results for anybody, at any level of knowledge, point in their lives,” said Krause.
